Bio:
Le Vieux Chemin de Cap Rouge (The Old Road to Cap Rouge) follows an old unused section of the Cabot Trail that used to link Cheticamp to Pleasant Bay. There are still old foundations remaining from Acadian settlers who started settling in the area around 1891.

It is a well maintained trail with a few nice views along the way. There is an alternate trail head near the Trout Brook area as well which some hikers prefer to start from. Cyclists are welcome on this trail.
