Sugar Loaf is a short but challenging 3.65 km hike to its peak. The top offers amazing views of Aspy Bay, Sugar Loaf mountain, the Highlands and Cabot’s Landing beach. It has been very recently cleared (Jul 2014) and is in good hiking shape.
From the Cabot Trail turn onto Bay of St. Lawerence Rd and drive until you pas the Cabot’s Landing Provincial Park. About 1km past that you will see trail tape along the left hand side of the road. Park safely on the side the road and walk to the trail head.
There is a geocache at the top / near the end of the trail.
