This forested trail follows the shoreline around the park’s largest lake. The trail is well maintained and suitable for all levels. A side trail (1.6 km) leads to Broad Cove Campground making it possible to start this trail directly from the campground.
The area was farmed and logged until the park was established in 1936.
From the Ingonish side of the Cabot Trail drive towards Neil’s Harbour until you see the sign for Warren Lake/Mary Ann Falls. Follow the dirt road, keeping left to avoid the Mary Ann Falls road, until it ends and park in an open spot. The trail can be started on either side of the parking lot.
